Ecordia Joins China Innovation Alliance of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles (ICV) to Co-build a New Industry Ecosystem

Recently, Ecordia officially joined the China Innovation Alliance of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles (ICV).

The China Innovation Alliance of ICV was established in 2017 with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). Jointly founded by the China Society of Automotive Engineers and the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, it brings together enterprises, universities, and research institutions from the automotive, communications, transportation, and internet sectors. Its mission is to promote the development of China's ICV industry and technology, facilitate cross-industry resource integration, drive collaborative innovation, and strengthen international exchange and cooperation.
Since its inception, the Alliance has evolved from an industry-initiated organization into an innovation institution that supports both government decision-making and industry development. It has become a significant force in cross-industry collaboration and government-industry-university-research-application synergistic innovation. Operating through established working mechanisms, the Alliance has conducted work and achieved important results in areas such as policy and strategy research, key common technology R&D, standards and regulations, testing and demonstration, industrial promotion, academic exchange, international cooperation, and talent cultivation.
Ecordia specializes in global solutions for intelligent connected vehicles and smart terminals. Headquartered in Beijing with its overseas headquarters in Singapore, Ecordia has established a global network with R&D and branch offices in multiple locations. It possesses profound expertise in the global mobile communication field and core capabilities in various aspects, assisting automotive companies in their global expansion and actively expanding into the intelligent cockpit domain. Simultaneously, Ecordia has participated in the drafting of several national standards and obtained numerous qualifications and certifications. As the sole software and test system solutions provider, Ecordia participated in drafting two national standards for internet of vehicles terminal systems: GB45762-2025 "In-vehicle Emergency Call System" and GB/T32960-2025 "Technical Specifications for Remote Service and Management System of Electric Vehicles".
With Ecordia's membership, the two parties will leverage their complementary strengths and engage in deep collaboration. Ecordia will integrate into the Alliance's work, contributing to the enhancement of its overall capabilities. Meanwhile, Ecordia itself can utilize the platform to expand resources and accelerate the commercialization of its achievements. This partnership is expected to inject fresh momentum into the high-quality development of China's ICV industry.
