On May 18th, Nanjing High-tech Zone (Pukou Park) and Ecordia successfully signed a 5G-IoT Innovation Center project. Shen Jianrong, deputy mayor of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government and member of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal Government, Qi Yuwei, Secretary of Pukou District Committee, Daniel Chen , Global Vice President of Qualcomm, Jin Jian, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Nokia Bell, and Ito Seiichi, General Manager of Epson (China) Robotics Business, attended the meeting and witness the signing ceremony, the ceremony was presided over by Liu Xiaoping, deputy head of Pukou District.

As one of the warm-up activities of Nanjing Innovation Week in 2021, the signing of the 5G-IoT Innovation Center is another fruitful result of Pukou's implementation of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee's deployment of building a Nanjing innovative city and accelerating the development of the digital economy industry.

“Pukou will continue to insist on the digital economy as the leading industry for planning, cultivation and growth, adhere to an open and honest attitude, establish and improve various systems to promote the implementation of projects, simplify handling procedures, improve service levels, and strive to create a good business operation. The business environment, with the goal of building a'digital industry highland, comprehensive empowerment center', to make Pukou characteristics in the development pattern of Nanjing's digital economy." Qi Yuwei delivered a speech.

According to reports, the project has a total investment of 2 billion yuan. It relies on self-developed digital twin technology and is committed to uniting industry leaders in global mobile communications, precision manufacturing and other fields to jointly create an end-to-end pan-5G IoT and open digital innovation ecological platform.

"Ecordia is determined to work with industry partners to promote the digital, networked, and intelligent upgrade of enterprises, and ultimately achieve cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency improvement. At the same time, it will further strengthen cooperation with Pukou District and related enterprises to jointly create a community with a shared future in the digital age." said Liao Zhiliang, Chairman of Ecordia.

Subsequently, Shi Shan, Director of the Management Committee of Nanjing High-tech Zone (Pukou Park), signed a project contract with Liao Zhiliang.
