This year, Qualcomm Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship Competition ushered in the twelfth consecutive year that the event has been held in China. While maintaining the original aspiration, this entrepreneurial competition has the theme of "5G Ecology" for the first time, and is officially named the Qualcomm Venture Capital-Sequoia China 5G Ecological Entrepreneurship Competition. This year's competition focuses on the "5G ecology", and the goal is to discover and provide more support for innovative companies with development potential in AI, IoT, XR, robotics and other related fields empowered by 5G.

After pre-selection, 10 outstanding companies entered the finals and had a wonderful live competition. According to related reports, 5G will create 13.2 trillion US dollars in economic output by 2035; in China, the five pioneering industries of mobile terminals, pan-entertainment, industrial Internet, healthcare and automobiles will lead the development of 5G.
In the context of the continuous and in-depth development of 5G deployment, this year's Qualcomm Venture Capital-Sequoia China 5G Ecological Entrepreneurship Competition, the diversification of participating companies also demonstrates the new opportunities that 5G ecological emerging forces have opened up on a wide range of tracks: technical fields cover labor Intelligence, 5G core technology, extended reality, Internet of Things, robotics and cloud computing; the industry direction is distributed in the fields of enterprise services, entertainment, film and television, automobiles, communications, industrial manufacturing, and medical health.
Speaking of the direction of 5G ecological investment, Qualcomm Global Vice President and Managing Director of Qualcomm Ventures Shen Jin summarized it into four major levels: the first is chips and other core components, the second is modules and terminals, and the third is Network equipment and network operation services, the fourth is the application and empowerment of 5G.
This year's selected companies make full use of 5G empowerment, go deep into the industry and application scenarios at multiple levels, and unearth new values and possibilities.
For example, Yunzhisoft Communication has gone deep into the manufacturing industry, and assisted the implementation of 5G+ industrial Internet with independent research and development of 5G private networks, base stations, and terminal products; DataMesh gave full play to the characteristics of 5G large bandwidth and low latency, and provided digital twin technical services; Yicheng Hi-Tech Focusing on the simulation and testing of 5G AIoT industry scenarios; Juli Dimension has opened up a track for artificial intelligence film and television production to better support the consumer demand for rich visual digital content in the 5G era.
